of Events. (updated 8/26/10) New Officers for the Night Guild..... To share the responsibility, the
Night Guild will have it's own VP & Program Chair. Tracy Russin will be the Vice President & Beth Holmes
will be your Program Chair. Happy New
Year..... Looking forward to seeing everyone again now that the holidays are behind
us. But now to get ready for our quilt show coming up in March. Don't forget to fill out your registration
forms, we like to have every member put in at least one quilt in the show. Also, you can fill out a form for a quilt
even if it isn't completed yet, as long as you can have it done by the show set-up day. New flickr website with pictures of the night guild activities.
Photos will be posted as they become available. Just click this direct link: Night Guild Meetings AN EXTRA NIGHT OUT - Sit, Sew & Social at Beth H. home. This is an informal gathering of the night guild members to bring projects, ideas, questions &/or problems you may need help with. If you don't already belong to a mini group, this is your opportunity to see if this is something you'd like to be a part of. These extra once a month outings are on the calendar. Bring your sewing machine or bring some hand sewing or just come to visit. We all like "Show & Tell" and your projects don't have to be finished for us to enjoy seeing them. Hopefully in the future the group may want to do a "Round Robin" or "Friendship Quilts" together. Until then, happy quilting! EXTRA SPECIAL NIGHTS
OUT at Beth's home. Beth has decided to offer additional outings at her house, but they will
not be on the calendar. When a time is available to her, she will email the night members of the dates & time.
These most likely will be on short notice, so you will have to check your email on a regular bases to take advantage of these
events. BASTING
YOUR QUILTS - The guild as service to our members offers help in basting members quilts. The quilts
can be basted with thread or by pins. The guild supplies the thread, but if you prefer pins you need to bring your own.
We have table stored which can be set up so we can tape or clip your quilts to the tables. YOU WILL NEED TO CALL TO
MAKE AN APPOINTMENT either with Tracy or Beth so they will be prepared. Note changes below (unless noted, all Monday
meetings are at the Church) Jul 19th, Monday 7 pm - Workshop "Christmas in July" making stockings & pillowcases for the soldiers overseas. Please bring your sewing machines, or even better a serger. Be sure to bring thread & bobbins for your machines. Fabric
& directions for the stockings will be available at the meeting. We will collect stocking stuffers at a later date. To make pillowcases, please bring: 1 yard of dark fabric 44"

own family & friends. Aug 16th,
