President

Marie Kostamo

I started quilting a few years ago. It's exciting to learn new techniques and share ideas with friends. I love the peace that working on a quilt brings.

Vice President

Sharon Gorup

I'm a third generation quilter and enjoy everything about quilting… making quilts, hanging out with quilters, researching fabrics, and learning new techniques.

Secretary

Mary Lemon

I am a retired registered nurse who enjoys taking quilting classes and making charity quilts.  I have been quilting off and on for about 12 years.

Treasurer

Susie Haugen

I made my first quilt 25 years ago, then put quilting aside for many years. With renewed interest, now I have a dedicated quilting room and won a prize for my quilt!

VP of Membership

Alberta is a long-time SQC member. She is an avid and prolific quilter, making many, many quilts for charity.

I learned to quilt in the mid-90’s with a little book titled “Quilting for People Who Don’t Have Time to Quilt” written by Marti Michell.  I enjoy improvisational piecing and landscape quilts, and look forward to new and fun ways to connect with quilters!

VP of Night Group

Sue Lorenz

Sue loves to quilt, spend time with other quilters, learn new techniques and share her knowledge.
