Once again this year Guild members are invited to Global Quilt Connections sampler of amazing quilt teachers from around the country. Between 3pm and 6pm on each of the two weekend days, you can join in when you can and stay as long as you’d like!

If you cannot make in during any or all of the live event GCQ are making a recording of each day's event available for 48 hours after it finishes. Perhaps you missed one of the speakers or just want to re-watch someone that particularly interested you.

This year's line up for Saturday includes -

Daisy Aschehoug, Starpoint Quilt Blocks
Kimberley Cartwright, Dynamic Quiltmaking with Scraps
Nina Clotfelter, Ruler Work with Nina Clotfelter
Kena Dorsey, Quilting with African Fabric
Jane Haworth, Christmas Collage
Bonnie Langenfeld, Oh Christmas Tree!
Carolina Moore, Sewing in 3D! An intro to bag making
Ann Shaw, Amish Binding
Carol Wilhoit, Walking Foot Quilted Valentines

And for Sunday  -

Jane Hauprich, Anyone Can Feather!
Eleanor Levie, Weave Your Stash!
Carole Lyles Shaw, AfroModern Holiday Table Runner
Julia McLeod, Sheer Delight!
Catherine Redford, Walking Foot Quilting - take the Scenic Route with Hand Stitching
David Sirota, "No More Tears" © Paper Piecing
Margaret Willingham, Beauty and Speed: Machine Reverse Applique

Please note that presenter lists are subject to last minute changes.

On Monday 19th September our Guild evening meeting at 7pm will be used to talk about the various teachers we have seen over the weekend. We can use this opportunity to maybe choose a few to provide lectures or workshops for our 2023 program. Please do sign-up and Zoom in for that Event as well as the Platter.

Our mission is to preserve and promote the art of quilt making, stimulate interest through educating members and the public, and engage in projects for the community where needed and appropriate.
