Rules (In No Particular Order)

1.     You will receive 3 pieces of fabric. The fabric is for the color ONLY. You do not have to use the fabric unless you want to. What you need to use is the color.

2.     You may add a background fabric, which will give you 4 colors to work with. The background fabric must be shades of white, beige, black or grey.

3.     At least 75% of the quilt must be the 3 colors plus the background. In other words, you may use other colors but they should not be more than 25% of the quilt.

4.     The colors are from Tula Pink’s solid collection but you do not have to use Tula Pink fabric. Again, the fabric is just for the color. The names on the fabrics are the actual names of the fabric. The fabric was donated by Whim-so-Doodle.

5.     The fabrics used do not need to be a solid but should appear solid or be majority that color.

6.     The quilts are due at our anniversary party, which is the in person meeting April 2, 2025.

7.     The quilt must have 3 layers, be quilted and have a finished edge.

8.     Finished size is 80 inches around or more.

9.     Whim-so-Doodle is offering 20% off if you purchase fabric from them for the project. You MUST bring the swatches with you in order to get the discount and tell them you are a member of Suncoast Quilting Circle.

10.  Place a label on the back that includes your name, date and the swatches.

11.  The winning categories will be Judge’s Choice (Judge to be determined) and Viewer’s Choice.
