What I like about the USA ChallengeSince 2026 will be the 250th anniversary of the United States, we decided to make our theme “What I Like About the USA”. We know that we have members who are not from the states, but we hope that this theme will work for all our members. What you like can be a person, place or thing. It can be patriotic, but we do not want it to be political since we are a non political organization. The project is due at our anniversary party on April 1, 2026. You can make a quilt or a "quilt" postcard. Alberta will be showing how to make a "quilt" postcard at the January 7th, 2026 Sew Inspired meeting. The "quilt" postcard size will be 4 by 6 inches. Finish it so that it could be mailed. You can do both categories, if you wish. The quilt must have 3 layers, be quilted and have a finished edge. For the presentation, write up a short paragraph about the quilt such as why you made it or even the problems you had designing or making the quilt. Ribbons will be for Viewer’s choice and we hope fo have a Judges Choice. There must be at least 3 "quilt" postcards for a ribbon in that category. Challenge yourself and have fun!
