Holiday Happenings
Join us for a delicious holiday luncheon, the President's Challenge Voting, the UFO Challenge Voting, and a fun opportunity to contribute to the guild's operating and program expenses via a drawing to win quilting supplies and notions. A $5 donation to help offset costs will be collected at the door (correct change is greatly appreciated), and comes with 5 tickets for the drawing. Additional tickets to raise money for the guild are available for purchase.
President's Challenge and UFO Challenge details are on the website here. Submit photos of completed UFOs or make corrections to your count of completed UFOs shown at meetings to suncoastquiltingcircle@yahoo.com or bring the UFOs to the meeting.
Nancy Schubart is leading the basket making effort. Nancy's team includes both Mary Lemon and Mary Davis. If you chose to make a complete basket instead of submitting items at one of the meetings, please remember to bring it Saturday the 16th.
Anita King is in charge of the luncheon. She's planning a feast with Ham and Turkey provided by the guild, but asks that everyone sign up to bring something to share (ready to serve, with serving utensil) at 11:30. She's got a sign up sheet started to keep track & balance things so we don't all bring the same thing :). Please email Anita if you still need to sign up. Also, because it's hard to manage ham and turkey with plastic ware, please bring your own silverware (real or plastic as you choose).
There will be no "Back Table" at the party. This meeting is being offered over zoom and in person at St. Giles Church located at 8271 52nd St. N, Pinellas Park, FL 33781. Food donations to the food pantry at St. Giles are greatly appreciated. The need is great, especially during the holidays.
To permit planning, registration is required, and will close at 10 AM on Dec. 14. Please register early.
