Join us to work on lap quilts for wheel chairs or your own projects

We will be meeting in person at St. Giles Church located at 8271 52nd St. N, Pinellas Park, FL 3378; it will also be available over Zoom.

*If you'd like to make $5 donation to offset the cost of renting the room, it will be appreciated. Please bring a brown bag lunch and beverage. A refrigerator is available.

Lap Quilts for wheel chairs should finish approximately 32-36 inches wide by approximately 42 inches long. This is a great stash buster! Some fabric will be provided, but please bring your own if possible. You can use charm squares, 6", 7", etc. squares to make a quick "top" (or any pattern you desire), or even do a "whole cloth" style. Use fabric or flannel for the backing (no batting required). In lieu of binding, a placemat style stitch around and turn inside out, with cross hatch quilting to secure the quilt for many washings, is all you need to finish it!
