On Saturday you are invited to support the national Quilts of Valor sew day. A precut block kit is available for you to sew up (it won't take too long). You are welcome to work on your own projects.

Each person will have a reserved space including a 2x6 table and folding chair. Two ironing stations and a cutting station will be available. There are plenty of outlets and lighting is very good with lots of natural light.

You will be able to leave your equipment overnight. The building will be locked and has an alarm system. .

Ample parking is available off 1st Ave N and 53rd St N (behind the Firefighters building).
Handicapped parking with easy access to the building is available at the 1st Ave N parking lot.

The cost is $45 plus an item to contribute to the salad bar and/or a snack. (Sign up for items will be done in January)

Lunch on Saturday and leftovers for Sunday will be provided.  Currently the plans are for a salad bar with a baked potato bar and chili.  We also will provide any plates and utensils.

Not included are any beverages, glasses, or mugs but we do have plenty of ice.

A refrigerator and microwave are available.

Organizers - Alberta Dalke, Mary Lou Cunningham, and Kay Blikken.

Our mission is to preserve and promote the art of quilt making, stimulate interest through educating members and the public, and engage in projects for the community where needed and appropriate.
