Join us for “QUILTS & COMPOSITION” by Brenda Gael Smith trading as Serendipity Patchwork & Quilting. We found Brenda by viewing the All-Star Sampler Platter last Sept. Brenda resides in Copacabana, Australia, on the Central Coast of New South Wales. She is a quilt designer as well as an exhibition administrator and quilt judge. Brenda comments that any quilt that you make is an act of design whether it is traditional, contemporary, modern or an art quilt. She will highlight recurring types of art composition because understanding composition provides a vocabulary for describing and evaluating quilt design and provides a foundation for developing our creative practice.
