    Hi Amanda and welcome!

The Christmas Toy Shop,  550 16th St N.  in St. Pete, will take baby quilts and blankets.  They are open only a few hours at present,  but if you contact Mary Lou Cunningham, she may take them for you.  She is a volunteer there.   Most nursing homes and the VA nursing home will gladly take lap quilts.  Be sure to call ahead as some have specific requirements.  Hope to see you at one of our meetings.

    Mary

Welcome Amanda!!!  We will look forward to seeing you at the Sip & Sew! Your quilts are beautiful!  We have many quilters who do charity work and they might have some good ideas for lap and crib quilts.  I will check with some members to see if there is any place we are currently taking lap quilts.  You will get lots of ideas at the Sip & Sew!  See you soon!  Emily Fasan

Hello everyone I'm a new member from St.Petersburg Fl. I'm very excited to join. Looking forward to Mondays sip and sew. I'll have my coffee ready. I'm about at the 1.5 year mark for quilting and look forward to learning more tricks. Quick question: what charities are suggested for small lap/crib quilts?
